Troops of Sector 3, Operation Enduring Peace, have rescued a soldier who was abducted at the Nigerian Army Training Centre, NATC, Miango Range, in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The soldier, identified as Corporal Amos Bala, was abducted on September 27, 2026, at the military training facility.
According to security sources, the soldier was released by his abductors around 9 p.m. on September 28 after troops intensified operations aimed at locating and rescuing him.

Bala reportedly sustained injuries while in captivity and was immediately taken to the NATC Medical Centre for treatment.
He was later discharged after receiving medical attention and subsequently returned to his unit.
The rescue followed continued efforts by troops of Sector 3, Operation Enduring Peace, to track down the abductors and secure the safe release of the soldier.
