Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have successfully intercepted suspected logistics suppliers linked to Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Borno State, recovering a cache of food items and medical supplies.
The operation, which took place in Damboa Local Government Area, was revealed by security analyst Zagazola Makama in a post shared on X on Wednesday night.
According to the report, the interception occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday during a routine farm protection patrol conducted by troops of the 19 Battalion (Motorised) in collaboration with the 25 Brigade Garrison.
During the patrol along Kauji Road, troops reportedly sighted two individuals suspected of supplying logistics to terrorist groups. Upon noticing the advancing soldiers, the suspects abandoned their bicycles and fled into the surrounding bush.
