The incident occurred on May 17, 2026, at Western Delta Junction in Ogharefe during a stop-and-search operation mounted by the operatives.
Divine, a prospective university student and son of Dr. Victor Williams Efe of Delta Southern University, was travelling in a Sienna vehicle with two others when they were stopped and ordered to disembark for a search.
According to eyewitness accounts and the victim’s father, the operatives found no incriminating items after thoroughly searching both the vehicle and its occupants.
