
A tragic incident has claimed the life of a 15-year-old boy, Ahmed Sulaiman, following a violent altercation among teenagers in Gwangwan Village, Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State.
The incident reportedly occurred on the night of June 1, 2026, at about 9:00 p.m., after a disagreement broke out among a group of youths over food.
What began as a minor dispute quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.
According to security sources, the clash involved Ahmed Sulaiman and three other teenagers identified as Abdulaziz Garzali (13), Amiru Sani (15), and Habu Mani (14). During the fight, Abdulaziz allegedly obtained a knife from Habu and stabbed Ahmed, inflicting severe injuries.
The victim was immediately rushed to the General Hospital in Rogo for urgent medical attention. However, he was confirmed dead while receiving treatment.

The incident was reported to authorities by the village head, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur, prompting swift action from security agencies.
Police sources confirmed that the suspects have been identified and are currently assisting with ongoing investigations to determine the full circumstances surrounding the attack
The Kano State Police Command has assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway and that all those found culpable will face the full weight of the law.
