Portugal has lined up three candidates to take over from Roberto Martinez after the 2026 World Cup, following his expected departure from the role.
According to talkSPORT, Martinez will step down once the tournament ends. The Spaniard has been linked with a reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
To replace him, the Portuguese Football Federation is considering Jorge Jesus, Abel Ferreira, and Sérgio Conceição. All three managers have strong records in Portuguese and Brazilian football and are seen as viable options to lead the national team into the next cycle.
