
The Abia State Police Command has raided an alleged counterfeit currency production site in Obikabia community, Aba, arresting a 40-year-old man and recovering seven bundles of fake ₦200 notes.
The suspect, identified as John Paul, was apprehended during an operation carried out by operatives of the command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit following actionable intelligence.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chinaka, disclosed the development in a statement on Friday, October 9, 2026.
