
The Abia State Police Command has uncovered a suspected criminal hideout in the Isuochi area of the state, where two vehicles believed to have been stolen were recovered.
The vehicles include a white Dodge with registration number APP-909KF and a red Toyota Camry with registration number ENU-43AZ.
The command’s spokesperson, DSP Maureen Chinaka, said the discovery was made by operatives of the Isuochi Divisional Police Headquarters following credible intelligence.
She said the operation was carried out in line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Wilfred Afolabi.

According to the police, the recovered vehicles are currently in safe custody while efforts are ongoing to identify and arrest members of the suspected syndicate operating the hideout.
The command urged members of the public whose vehicles may have been stolen to visit the Police Headquarters in Umuahia with valid proof of ownership.
The police said owners whose vehicles match the descriptions of the recovered cars would be allowed to identify and reclaim them after proper verification.
