Three police officers linked to the killing of a University of Port Harcourt graduate, Anthony Obodo, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have been dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force.
The officers were dismissed following an investigation into the shooting incident, which occurred along Ada George Road in Port Harcourt last Thursday.
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, disclosed the development on Wednesday while parading the dismissed officers before journalists in Port Harcourt.

According to the police, the investigation established the culpability of the three officers, who will now face prosecution in court.
The command also declared an Inspector who allegedly fled the scene after the shooting a deserter.
The police commissioner assured the public that appropriate disciplinary measures had been taken against personnel found responsible for the incident.
The case has sparked concerns over police conduct and the need for accountability in the use of firearms by security personnel.
