The Kano State Police Command has arrested a woman following a violent altercation that left her boyfriend severely injured in the Badawa area of the state.
According to a statement released by the command on Monday, the suspect allegedly attacked the victim with a sharp object during a dispute, resulting in serious bodily harm. The victim is currently receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed health facility.
Police authorities confirmed that the suspect is in custody while investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“The Kano State Police Command has arrested a female suspect for allegedly attacking her boyfriend during a violent altercation in Badawa. The victim sustained serious injuries and is currently undergoing treatment,” the statement read.
