The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection with the alleged theft of two cows in Bunza Local Government Area of the state.
The suspects were apprehended following information received from members of the public that the animals were being transported to a market in Bunza.
According to the police, preliminary investigations revealed that the cows were allegedly stolen from Ganten Tudu in Bagudu Local Government Area before being taken to Bunza for sale.
The owner of the animals was contacted and subsequently identified the recovered cows as his property.

The police said the two cows have since been returned to their rightful owner.
Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing as the command works to identify and arrest other individuals who may have been involved in the alleged theft.
