The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with separate cases of alleged homicide, criminal conspiracy and foeticide across the state.
According to the police, a 19-year-old man, Abubakar Hudu, was arrested after a fight with Hassan Adamu in Gida Dubu, Bauchi metropolis. Adamu reportedly collapsed after the altercation and was later pronounced dead at the Specialist Hospital, Bauchi.
In another incident in Kirfi, 22-year-old Audu Babangida was arrested over the alleged stabbing of 25-year-old Haruna Bala during a dispute over farmland. Police said the suspect was arrested while allegedly attempting to cross into Gombe State, with the knife reportedly recovered.

Meanwhile, two men, Aminu Jibrin and 25-year-old Salihu Mohammed, were arrested in Ningi over an alleged conspiracy involving the termination of a 22-year-old woman’s pregnancy.
The Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, ordered that the cases be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation and prosecution.
The command also urged residents to avoid jungle justice and report disputes or suspected criminal activities to the police.
