The Ogun State Police Command has arrested four men in connection with an alleged burglary in the Agbado area of the state after investigators tracked one of the stolen mobile phones.
Police spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said the suspects were apprehended during an investigation into a reported house-breaking incident that occurred on July 5.
According to the police, detectives attached to the Agbado Division used forensic technology to trace one of the stolen phones, leading them to the first suspect. The breakthrough subsequently led to the arrest of three other individuals believed to be linked to the burglary.
The suspects, identified as Sodiq Raji, Zubby Nzube, Adeyemi Omoyajuowo, and Chimezie Iwuanya, are currently in police custody as investigations continue.

Authorities said some of the items reportedly stolen during the burglary have already been recovered, while efforts are ongoing to recover the remaining valuables and apprehend other suspects believed to have fled.
The police assured residents that the investigation is progressing and reiterated their commitment to using technology-driven methods to combat crime across the state.
The Ogun State Police Command added that the four suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
