
Pep Guardiola will step down as Manchester City manager at the end of the current season, bringing an end to a decade-long spell at the Etihad Stadium.
According to the Daily Mail, the Spaniard will take charge of his final game on Sunday when City host Aston Villa in their last Premier League fixture of the campaign. The announcement is reportedly imminent, with the club said to have begun informing sponsor partners.
Guardiola arrived at City in 2016 and has overseen the most successful era in the club’s history. During his tenure, he led City to 20 trophies, including six Premier League titles, four of them won consecutively.

He also guided the club to its first Champions League triumph, along with multiple Carabao Cup and FA Cup wins. This season alone, City added both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup to their honours list.
