
Manchester City midfielder, Bernardo Silva, has reflected on his side’s Premier League campaign, stating that the club would likely have secured the title if not for a transitional phase and costly mistakes made during the season.
Speaking in an interview with The Athletic, Silva admitted that the competition this season has been intense, with Liverpool identified as City’s main rival for the title.
“I do believe our main rivals were Liverpool by far,” Silva said. “I know if we were not in a transitional season and if we didn’t make so many mistakes, we would have won this league.
