Michael Owen has urged Mikel Arteta to start Viktor Gyokeres in Arsenal’s Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday in Budapest.
The former Manchester United striker believes the Sweden international is now a real attacking threat and can cause problems for PSG’s defence.
“I think Gyokeres has to start in the Champions League final, a hundred per cent yes,” Owen told Metro. He pointed to the striker’s recent form, saying Gyokeres has been scoring, creating goals and leading the line well in recent weeks.
