Arthur Okonkwo has expressed his eagerness to make his long-awaited debut for Nigeria’s Super Eagles following his recent switch of international allegiance.
The London-born goalkeeper, who previously represented England at youth levels, was officially cleared by FIFA last month to play for Nigeria, opening the door for his inclusion in the national team.
The 24-year-old is widely expected to be named in the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming Unity Cup tournament scheduled to take place later this month.

Speaking on the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) TV, Okonkwo shared his excitement about the opportunity to represent the three-time African champions.
“It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to play for your country. I’m excited, I can’t wait,” he said.
Okonkwo’s potential inclusion adds depth to Nigeria’s goalkeeping options as the team prepares for upcoming international competitions.
