
Nollywood actress and content creator, Nimota Adesanya Omotolani, popularly known as Nimmy Ferrari, has died at the age of 26.
The rising Yoruba actress reportedly died following complications after undergoing surgery to treat fibroids, a condition involving non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the uterus. However, her family has yet to publicly confirm the exact medical cause of her death.
News of her death emerged after fellow actress Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity, paid tribute to her on social media.
“Everybody is back home; we left only you, IDERA Nimmyferrari. It is well,” Kemity wrote.
Other members of the Yoruba film industry, including Victoria Kolawole, Dada Tolani, Jigan Babaoja and Biola Adekunle, have also mourned the young actress.
Ferrari had reportedly completed the construction of her dream home in Sagamu, Ogun State, and was making preparations for a housewarming ceremony before her sudden death.

Sadly, she did not get the opportunity to enter and live in the house she had worked so hard to build. Instead of celebrating the completion of her home with family, friends and colleagues, the property became associated with mourning following her death.
Beyond acting, Ferrari was involved in film production and content creation. She was known for her activities within the Yoruba film industry and operated Nimmy Ferrari Productions.
Her death at the age of 26 has left colleagues, friends and fans mourning the loss of a young entertainer whose career was still developing.
As of the time of filing this report, her family had not released an official statement providing further details about the circumstances surrounding her death.
