The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested popular TikTok content creator Ukasha Yahaya, widely known as UK International, over videos showing him hugging, carrying, dancing with and bathing with women.
Hisbah Deputy Commander General, Dr. Mujahid Aminuddeen, confirmed the arrest on Thursday, stating that the 27-year-old was apprehended after the board received information that he had entered Kano.
Yahaya, who is from Gusau, Zamfara State, but resides in Abuja, reportedly admitted during questioning that he could not remember the number of videos he had produced featuring women. Some of the videos reportedly gained between one million and three million views.

The content creator reportedly apologised and promised not to repeat the acts. He also said he had previously been warned by his mother and others about the nature of his content and was considering quitting such videos as he prepares for marriage.
The Hisbah Board said investigations are ongoing and that Yahaya would be charged in court after the investigation is completed.
The board also warned youths against creating TikTok content that violates what it considers acceptable moral and religious standards.
