
Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has secured another term at the helm of the Spanish giants after winning the club’s presidential election by a clear majority.
The club’s Electoral Board confirmed on Monday that Pérez’s candidacy received 21,741 votes, representing 65 percent of all in-person and postal ballots cast. His challenger, Enrique Riquelme, garnered 11,814 votes, accounting for 35 percent.
“With 100% of the in-person and postal votes counted, the candidacy headed by Mr. Florentino Pérez has won the elections for President and Board of Directors of Real Madrid,” the Electoral Board said in an official statement published on the club’s website.

The result extends Pérez’s long-standing leadership of one of world football’s most successful clubs. His newly elected board includes Vice Presidents Eduardo Fernández de Blas, Pedro López Jiménez, Enrique Sánchez González, and Enrique Pérez Rodríguez, with José Luis del Valle Pérez serving as Secretary.
Pérez’s re-election ensures continuity at the Bernabéu as Real Madrid look to build on recent domestic and European success. The board will serve alongside him throughout the new administration.
