At least five farmers have reportedly been killed by suspected bandits while working on their farms in Wasagu communities, Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
The attack was reportedly disclosed by crisis reporter and security analyst Bakatsine, who said armed men invaded the farmlands and opened fire on the farmers.
Several other people were also reportedly abducted during the attack.

In a separate incident, a resident identified as Alhaji Ummaru was reportedly killed along the Ayu–Wasagu road in Wasagu town. According to the report, the attackers also abducted children who were travelling with him on a motorcycle around the Nayaya and Rijiyar Margayi areas.
The incidents have raised fresh concerns among residents and farming communities, particularly over access to farmlands and movement along rural roads.
As of the time of the report, there had been no official confirmation from security authorities regarding the attacks, while the whereabouts of those reportedly abducted remained unknown.
