
The Ekiti State Police Command has launched an investigation into the disappearance of a 19-year-old woman, Dandam Happiness, who has been missing since August 10, 2026.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, disclosed this in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Monday.
According to the police, Happiness left her residence in Ado Ekiti at about 4pm on August 10 and headed to an unknown destination. She has not returned home since then.
The police described Happiness as approximately 4.5 feet tall and fair in complexion. She reportedly has no tribal marks and speaks English fluently.
The command said efforts by her relatives and friends to establish her whereabouts had so far proved unsuccessful.

Abutu stated that the police had commenced investigations to determine what happened to the missing woman and facilitate her safe return.
The command appealed to members of the public who may have information about Happiness’ whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact the police on 09064050086.
The police also urged residents to share information about the missing woman widely to assist investigators, her family and friends in locating her.
