
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned three suspects before a court in Ibadan, Oyo State, over an alleged visa scam.
The suspects Emmanuel Serah Motunrayo, Awotunde Olugbenga and Idowu Olugbemi Sunday were arraigned before Justice Olusola Adetujoye of the Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan on Thursday.
Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement made available .

According to the statement, the suspects were arraigned by the Ibadan Zonal Directorate of the commission.
Counsel to the defendants, Jimoh Wasiu, informed the court that bail applications had been filed and urged the judge to grant the suspects bail pending the hearing and determination of the charges against them.
Justice Adetujoye, however, adjourned the matter until August 26, 2026, for the hearing of the bail applications.
The judge also ordered that the suspects be remanded at the Agodi Correctional Facility pending the determination of their bail applications.
