
Troops of Sector 7, Operation Enduring Peace, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have arrested a suspected kidnapper during a raid in Kamuru village, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Husaini Jibrin, was apprehended around 3:30 a.m. on May 12. According to security sources cited by counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, Jibrin is linked to a kidnapping that occurred on April 26, 2026, in Angwan Ali community within the same local government area.

Investigators believe the suspect played a role in planning and carrying out the abduction, an incident that raised tension among residents of neighboring communities.
Items recovered during the operation included a mobile phone and N10,000 in cash.
