Controversial relationship expert Blessing CEO has reacted emotionally to the death of Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo, who passed away on Monday in a Lagos hospital after battling stage 4 liver cancer.
Sharing a photo of the late actor on her Instagram page, Blessing CEO wrote, “God will punish cancer. We waited for you to show up. You fought silently. Rest in peace.” Her post appeared to reference her own earlier claim of battling stage 4 cancer, which drew public scrutiny earlier this year.
In March 2026, Blessing CEO had solicited financial assistance for what she said was chemotherapy treatment for stage 4 breast cancer. The claim sparked controversy after the Nigerian Medical Association, Delta State chapter, accused her of altering a medical report belonging to another patient from Xinus Medical Diagnostics.
