
Residents of Mai Gamji community in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State have been thrown into panic following a fresh bandit attack that led to the abduction of several individuals, including a woman and her daughter.
The incident, which reportedly occurred on Monday night, saw armed men storm the community, forcefully entering homes, and whisking victims away to an undisclosed location.
Security analyst Bakatsine disclosed the development in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, detailing how the attackers carried out the operation.
“Last night, bandits raided Mai Gamji community in Funtua LGA of Katsina State, abducting several residents, including this woman and her daughter,” he wrote.
