
Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold says music runs deep in his family, revealing that his 5-year-old daughter, Adejare Kosoko, is already showing signs of following in his and Simi’s footsteps.
Speaking on a recent episode of the Great Day 20 podcast, the singer said he has noticed his daughter’s growing interest in music and believes she could become a musician in the future.
“It is interesting to be married to another fantastic singer-songwriter and now our daughter is already giving signs that she might be one for the music as well,” he said.

During the same interview, Adekunle Gold also addressed rumours that he and Simi recently welcomed twins. He clarified that the reports are false and confirmed that they had a son.
“My wife and I didn’t give birth to twins, it is just internet rumours. We have a son,” he stated.
Adekunle Gold and Simi got married in a private ceremony in January 2019 and welcomed their first child, Adejare, in May 2020.
