The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Enugu State has been thrown into mourning following the death of its chairman in Udenu Local Government Area, Hon. Chisimdiri Emmanuel Ngwu.
Ngwu, a long-serving member of the party, was reportedly found dead near his residence in the early hours of Wednesday, August 19, 2026, shortly after leaving his home.
A family source said Ngwu woke up early that morning and went outside but did not return. His family later became worried after discovering that he was missing.
His lifeless body was subsequently found in front of the family compound. The source also alleged that scratches were noticed around his neck, with his neck appearing twisted backwards.
The circumstances surrounding his death have raised concerns among his family members, political associates and residents of the community.
