
Security operatives have successfully thwarted a suspected bandit attack in Gangaren Makurdi Village, located in Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The incident, which occurred on Thursday night, was disclosed in a post shared on Friday by a security analyst on X (formerly Twitter). According to the report, armed bandits had infiltrated the village, prompting residents to raise a distress alert to security authorities.
In response, troops of the 17 Brigade swiftly mobilised to the area in collaboration with members of the Vigilante Group and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).
