
Suspected terrorists have abducted a resident, identified as Yusuf Bazamfare, and set fire to a Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) outpost, a brothel, and a residential building during a violent attack in Kebbi State.The incident occurred on Saturday night in Tsamiya community, located in Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State.
According to a statement released on Sunday by the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force in the state, Bashir Usman, the attackers invaded the community, shooting sporadically as they carried out the assault.

The assailants reportedly set fire to a makeshift checkpoint belonging to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, a local brothel, and the residence of one Sule Mai Goge. During the attack, Alhaji Yusuf Bazamfare was also kidnapped.
Following the incident, the Commissioner of Police in Kebbi ordered the immediate deployment of additional security operatives to the area to restore order and strengthen surveillance in the community.Security authorities said coordinated operations had begun to rescue the abducted victim and track down those responsible for the attack.
Investigations are ongoing in collaboration with other security agencies.Residents of the area have been urged to remain calm, stay vigilant, and provide useful information that could assist security forces in curbing further attacks in the region.
