
The Oyo State Government has begun demolishing a house in Ibadan used by kidnappers who abducted the sister of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu and her twins.
The demolition started on Monday at Lakoun Estate, Olomi-Olojuoro Road, Oluyole Local Government Area, with equipment moved in by officials of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation.

The victims were kidnapped last Wednesday and rescued by police on Saturday. According to the report, the operation to pull down the structure is being carried out alongside operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
Authorities said the house served as a hideout for the kidnappers after the abduction. State officials have not released further details on the demolition, but confirmed the exercise is ongoing.
The rescue and demolition come amid heightened concerns over kidnapping in Oyo State. Police have urged residents to report suspicious movement and activities in their communities to prevent similar crimes.
