Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly urged international teammate Ademola Lookman to consider a move to Galatasaray ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window.
Lookman only joined Atlético Madrid from Atalanta in the January window after attracting interest from several top European clubs.
Since arriving at the Wanda Metropolitano, the Nigerian forward has adapted quickly to La Liga, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.
Despite his strong form in Spain, speculation over his future has not faded. Reports now link him with a switch to Turkish champions Galatasaray, where a reunion with Osimhen could be on the cards.

According to Turkish outlet Fotomaç, Osimhen has personally encouraged Lookman to make the move to Istanbul.
The Galatasaray striker is said to have highlighted the close-knit atmosphere within the squad, telling Habersarikirmizi, “We are waiting for you at Galatasaray. Come and be a part of this family.”
If the deal goes through, Lookman’s arrival would significantly strengthen Galatasaray’s attack ahead of the 2026/27 season.
He could also emerge as a long-term replacement for Argentine forward Mauro Icardi, whose future at the club remains uncertain amid exit rumors this summer.
