Manchester United interim head coach Michael Carrick has been nominated for the Premier League Manager of the Season award following an impressive spell in charge despite only taking over in January.
Carrick, who replaced Ruben Amorim, has overseen 15 league matches, recording 10 wins and three draws, a run that has significantly improved United’s form in the closing stages of the season.
Under his current pace, United’s results would have placed them just one point behind league leaders Manchester City if applied across the full campaign.

He is shortlisted alongside Keith Andrews, Mikel Arteta of Arsenal, Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth, and Regis Le Bris, all recognized for their standout contributions this season.
Carrick’s inclusion has generated debate among fans and pundits, with some questioning whether his short tenure warrants the nomination, while others argue that his impact at Old Trafford has been immediate and significant.
The award will ultimately recognise the most outstanding managerial performance in what has been one of the most competitive Premier League seasons in recent years.
