
Residents of Akotogbo community in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State have been thrown into fear and uncertainty following the discovery of two lifeless bodies in a nearby bush.
The victims, identified as Loyinmi Bode and Andrew Friday, were reportedly found at different locations within the community in separate incidents that occurred within the space of one month.
Confirming the development, the Ondo State Police Command disclosed that it has swiftly deployed operatives to the area to maintain order and investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Abayomi Jimoh, assured residents that the command is fully committed to safeguarding lives and property.
He noted that enhanced security measures have already been implemented across Akotogbo and neighboring communities to prevent any breakdown of law and order.

Meanwhile, the disturbing incidents have heightened anxiety among residents of the agrarian community, who are now calling on security agencies and the state government for urgent intervention to restore peace and ensure their safety.
