
United States immigration authorities have arrested Nigerian national Olatunde Olusanjo in Los Angeles over past convictions linked to child molestation and other sexual offences.
The Enforcement and Removal Operations unit of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that the 53-year-old was arrested on April 21, 2026, during an operation in Los Angeles.
The agency stated that Olusanjo has a history of arrests and convictions, including child molestation, sexual battery, and solicitation of lewd conduct.

According to ICE, he is currently in custody pending removal proceedings. A video released by the agency showed him being escorted in handcuffs by officers into detention.
Officials described him as a “criminal illegal alien and convicted sex offender,” noting that he is a Nigerian citizen and will remain in custody as immigration processes continue toward his deportation.
The arrest is part of ongoing enforcement actions targeting individuals with serious criminal records residing illegally in the United States.
