Former Chairman of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA), Ibrahim Galadima, has died at the age of 75 following a prolonged illness.
His death was confirmed on Saturday by former NFA Secretary-General, Sani Ahmed Toro, bringing an end to decades of influence in Nigerian football administration.

Born in 1951 in Fagge, Galadima began his journey in sports administration early, rising through the ranks to become Chairman of the Kano State Sports Council between 1981 and 1983.
He later returned to the role, continuing his commitment to grassroots sports development.
At the national level, he served as a member of the National Sports Commission and was elected Vice President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee from 1985 to 1987.
