Fast-rising Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Tracy Edwin, has revealed that she is comfortable taking on intimate roles in films, saying she is fully committed to her craft and unwilling to sacrifice her career for anyone.
Speaking in an intervie, the actress opened up about her career, personal experiences, and latest movie project.

Edwin disclosed that her striking height and confident personality often intimidate men at first, although many eventually realise she is approachable.

“At first, they pretend they don’t like me, but ironically, they do. Before you know it, they start coming closer. Some even say they thought I was a snob, but I’m not. I don’t snub people. Men are often scared of my height and personality,” she said.
Reflecting on her acting journey, the actress explained that she does not see her career as having one defining breakthrough, describing every opportunity as another step towards achieving her dream of becoming an internationally recognised actress.
“I’ve always seen myself as an international actress. Acting brings me genuine joy. Whenever I’m offered a role, I get excited, sometimes even more than the money I earn. It is something that truly fulfils me,” she said.

On the issue of taking on intimate scenes, Edwin maintained that she currently has no reservations, although she admitted her perspective could change after marriage.
“I’m comfortable with intimate roles for now. Maybe that will change when I get married, but I don’t plan to sacrifice my career for anyone. I’ve made that mistake before, and it left me depressed,” she stated.
The actress also announced the release of her latest film, Against Time, expressing appreciation to God as well as the cast and crew for their dedication throughout the production.
Describing the movie as an emotionally compelling project, Edwin said audiences should expect a story that resonates deeply.
