An unidentified man has been found dead in an uncompleted building located in the Albishiri area of Chanchaga Local Government Area, Niger State.
According to reports, residents of the community discovered the body hanging inside the abandoned structure early Thursday morning. The incident has sparked concern among locals, especially as it is reportedly the second time a lifeless body has been found in a similar location within the area.
The community leader, Dangana Abubakar, confirmed the development and urged residents to remain calm while authorities carry out a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Confirming the report, the spokesperson of the Niger State Police Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, stated that the police were alerted to the situation at about 7:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Preliminary observations suggest the case may involve self-harm, although investigations are still ongoing to determine the exact cause of death.
The police have also contacted the Chanchaga Local Government Social Welfare Department to take necessary steps as part of the response.
Authorities have assured the public that further updates will be provided as investigations progress.
