
Operatives of Sector 1 under Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) have successfully foiled a kidnapping attempt and rescued two victims in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State.
The incident occurred in the early hours of April 24 at about 8:19 a.m. in Agidi community, where suspected kidnappers were reportedly carrying out an operation.
According to security sources, troops responded swiftly after receiving a distress call and immediately mobilized to the scene.

Upon sighting the approaching troops, the kidnappers abandoned their victims and fled into nearby bushes, escaping capture.
The rescued individuals were safely recovered and reunited with their families without harm.
