A tanker has caught fire under the Otedola Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, triggering an emergency response from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).
LASEMA spokesperson, Olawale Afolabi, confirmed the incident on Monday, October 19, 2026, stating that the agency received a distress alert at about 4:24 p.m.
According to Afolabi, the agency dispatched its Tiger response team to the scene to attend to the emergency.
