The Ogun State So-Safe Corps has arrested a 50-year-old man, Kazeem Adeoye, over the alleged assault of a 44-year-old woman, Oladeyinde Morufat, and her daughter in Ifo Local Government Area.
The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday at Shonde, Iyana-Ifote, Lisa, following a disagreement involving the children of the two families.
Morufat alleged that Adeoye entered her compound without permission during the confrontation, while his wife allegedly struck her on the head with a wooden stick, leaving her bleeding. Her daughter, Mariam, also reportedly sustained a forehead injury.
During interrogation, Adeoye allegedly admitted entering the compound and acknowledged that the woman and her daughter sustained injuries, although he claimed he went there to warn the family after a complaint involving their children.
