Residents of the Agwan Nungu neighbourhood in Lafia, Nasarawa State, are abandoning their homes as severe flooding puts at least 15 houses at risk of collapse.
The floodwater has continued to wash away soil around the foundations of several buildings, leaving some structures dangerously exposed.
Some affected houses have reportedly begun to cave in, while deep gullies formed by the erosion have spread across parts of the neighbourhood. The gullies are estimated to be about five metres deep and could pose a serious danger to nearby buildings.

Several families have already moved out of their homes as the flooding worsens.
Residents said floodwater frequently enters their houses, destroying belongings and weakening structures.
One affected resident, Ali Jeje, appealed to the Nasarawa State Government to urgently intervene and carry out repairs to prevent a possible tragedy.
Residents also said Governor Abdullahi Sule had visited the community twice to assess the situation, but claimed that no concrete action had yet been taken.
The affected residents are calling for urgent measures to control the flooding and protect homes and lives in the neighbourhood.
