I was just driving out this evening when the accident happened. Nothing do me, I came out unhurt,” he said in the viral video.
Portable further explained that he suddenly discovered the vehicle’s brakes had failed, forcing him to take quick action to avoid a more tragic outcome.
He added that he was grateful the accident did not occur while a trailer was passing on the road, noting that the situation could have turned deadly.
The singer also disclosed that preparations for his child’s naming ceremony were already underway, revealing that he had purchased two cows for the celebration before the accident happened.
The naming ceremony comes days after Portable and his wife, Bewaji, welcomed their newborn baby. Bewaji reportedly gave birth during the singer’s celebrity boxing bout against Carter Efe on May 1, 2026.
The incident has since sparked reactions from fans on social media, with many expressing relief that the singer survived the crash unharmed.
