The Niger State Police Command has confirmed that no one was abducted during a bandit attack on a police outpost in Zugurma Village, Mashegu Local Government Area.
Spokesperson SP Wasiu Abiodun said the incident happened around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday when armed men blocked the Mokwa–New Bussa Road, entered the village, and targeted the outpost.
A joint security team responded quickly to the distress call, forcing the attackers to retreat into Ibbi Forest.
