
Manchester City have confirmed that Pep Guardiola will remain part of the City Football Group family in a new role as Global Ambassador following his departure as first-team manager.
The announcement comes after Guardiola decided to end his 10-year spell in charge of the Premier League club. In his new position, the 55-year-old will provide technical advice to clubs within the group and work on specific projects and collaborations across the organization.

Guardiola bows out as City’s longest-serving manager, having overseen his 593rd and final game against Aston Villa on Sunday. During his decade at the Etihad, he led the club to 20 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and the Champions League crown in 2023.
