
The Oyo State Police Command has arrested three suspects and recovered firearms and vandalised cables during an operation in Oyo town.
Police Public Relations Officer Olayinka Ayanlade said the arrests followed a report received by officers at the Durbar Division. Acting on the information, operatives moved to the location and arrested the owner of a scrap shop, Suhaib Abdulwahab, 30, of Akunlemu Area, Oyo.

Further investigation led to the arrest of two additional suspects believed to be connected to the crimes. They are Kabiril Mustapha and Abdullah, both 25 and also residents of Akunlemu Area, Oyo.
Ayanlade confirmed that firearms and vandalised cables were recovered from the suspects as exhibits. All three are currently in police custody while investigations continue.
