The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Mining Marshals have intensified operations against illegal mining activities across the country.
The Commander of the Mining Marshals, ACC Attah John Onoja, said the enforcement operations would continue nationwide without following any fixed order.
He assured mining operators that the Corps would ensure all mining activities comply with Nigeria’s laws and regulations.
Onoja disclosed this while speaking about a recent operation in Nasarawa State, conducted alongside the Federal Mines Officer and the state mining regulatory team.

The NSCDC commander warned that all mining operators must obtain valid licences and meet the necessary regulatory and operational requirements before commencing mining activities.
