The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s Kano Strategic Command has arrested 38 suspects during a two-day crackdown on drug hotspots across Kano metropolis ahead of the Eid al-Kabir celebrations.
The operation, carried out under the agency’s ongoing “Operation Sharar Mafaka,” targeted areas including Fagge, Hotoro, Gyadi Gyadi, Kofar Mata, Sheka, and Farm Centre.
According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, Sadiq Muhammad Maigatari, the raids were intensified to prevent criminal elements from exploiting the festive period for illegal activities.
