Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has described Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola as the greatest manager of all time and said he looks up to him as a role model.
Speaking in an interview with Movistar Plus, Enrique reacted to Guardiola’s decision to leave Manchester City at the end of the season. He admitted he still finds it hard to believe his fellow Spaniard is stepping down, saying he would have preferred to see him stay in the Premier League for many more years.

“When I was the national team coach, he used to ask me about the job. He has always had that desire to coach a national team. I don’t think he will take over Italy, but you can’t rule it out either,” Enrique said.
The PSG coach added that he wants to see Guardiola remain at the highest level for as long as possible, praising his influence on modern football. “I would like to see Pep at the highest level for many years because he is a role model for me, he is the best manager of all time,” he stated.
