In a Facebook post shared from Lagos, Alex Barbir of “Building Zion” stated that masses are protesting while accusing the Nigerian government of paying groups to hide the killings. Barbir said, “I will be the voice for the voiceless, and I will continue to do so. The massacre and oppression of innocent people will not happen in silence or in the shadows. It doesn’t matter how much money the Nigerian government pays lobbying groups to lie.”
