Prince Abubakar Audu University in Anyigba, Kogi State, has rolled out new security measures after a 300-level biochemistry student was killed in a suspected cult attack on June 11.
Following the 401st meeting of the University Management Committee, the school announced a ban on personal cars and motorcycles for students, including Haojue, TVS, and other “rubber-rubber” bikes. Tinted vehicles and cars with concealed number plates are also barred until further notice.
The main gate will now serve as the only entry and exit point, with other gates opened only for pedestrians. Students must display ID cards while on campus, and all unauthorized student gatherings remain suspended.
